UK Governmental body
Investigating online infringement behaviours in the UK
Since 2018, we have conducted the annual tracker of online copyright infringement for the official governmental body responsible for protecting Intellectual Property rights in the UK.
The study robustly measures infringement behaviours, what drives those behaviours, and the influence of behaviour change interventions.
Our research provides crucial information to decision makers in a wide range of sectors/industries.
Furthermore, as the only project of its scope on the subject, AudienceNet’s work on online copyright infringement is indispensable.
Our method
AudienceNet employs a two-phase approach for this annual study, looking into infringement behaviours across eight content categories.- The first phase consists of a robust, demographically representative online survey.
- The second is an online community that takes a deeper dive into key topics identified in the first phase.
